Rehabilitation/Repairs

Trenchless Point Repair

Our point repair system has been approved by government agencies world wide for rehabilitation of sewer pipelines and storm drains without excavation. Brown Plumbing's trenchless repair method can be performed in as little as 2 hours and in most cases does not require by-pass pumping.

Most sewers are less than 6% damaged. Our point repair system can repair the damaged pipe area and restore the sewer to its original capacity. Most of all the point repair system can save the customer 50% or more based on conventional methods.

Cured in Place Lateral Lining

lateral lining

Perma-Lateral Air Inversion, is a "Trenchless Technology" technique for rehabilitation of deteriorated or damaged pipe lines using material based on resin and polyester reinforcements.

These materials have used for more than 25 years for restoring pipelines and are well proven.

Perma-Liner Industries, Inc. is committed to provide Trenchless Solutions for the repair of underground utilities. The PERMA-LATERAL AIR INVERSION SYSTEM can provide rehabilitation of laterals in the following situations:
  • Straight runs from pit to pit
  • From sweeping cleanout to main sewer
  • Basement access through open end pipe or cleanout opening to main sewer
  • Vertical rain water pipes from roof to ground
  • Re-lining of partial lateral
  • 3", 4", 6" and 8" diameter rehabilitation
The Perma-Verter can line through multiple bends. Depending on the structural damage and pipeline diameter, liner thickness can be increased to suit individual applications based on design specifications.

Perma-Lateral Air Inversion System utilizes a combination of patented resin formulas and reinforced polyester. The inverted liner allows the resin to migrate into cracks and bond the liner material with the existing host pipe. This full liner bonding process eliminates future water infiltration and root intrusion.

Pipe Bursting

PIPE BURSTING is the ideal technique to use for the rehabilitation and replacement of utility lines such as gas, water, sewer, telephone, and power. PIPE BURSTING efficiently bursts clay, concrete, cast iron, and PVC pipe. PIPE BURSTING is the ideal technique to use for the rehabilitation of aging utility systems located in congested areas such as municipalities, city centers, and manufacturing or industrial plants for several reasons. The process involves very little disturbance caused by open trench excavation. A constant-tension winch guides the pipe bursting tool through the host pipe. The rear expander displaces host pipe fragments into the surrounding soil, while the tool pulls in the new polyethylene pipe. In addition, this process generally costs less than the conventional replacement through the open cut method.
